Naomi Wakabayashi is a Japanese voice actress and stage performer born on November 2, 1975, in Tottori Prefecture, Japan. She began her career in 1998 and has been active in anime, video games, and theater ever since. She is affiliated with the agency Forest Link. For roles in adult content, she uses the stage name Miyako Suzuta.

Wakabayashi's path to voice acting began in theater, where she was active from her high school years. She is a graduate of the Katsuta Voice Actor Academy and also attended the Japan Narration Institute.

Wakabayashi is most recognized for two iconic roles. She voices the bespectacled and pragmatic idol Ritsuko Akizuki in the long-running The iDOLM@STER franchise, a role she has played across numerous anime, games, and live concerts since the series' arcade version. She is also known for voicing the Russian-Japanese character Kudryavka Noumi, often called Kud, in the visual novel and anime series Little Busters! and its sequel, Kud Wafter.

Her other notable anime roles include Sheska in Fullmetal Alchemist, Celtic Midori in the Vandread series, Kawashiro-sensei in Hanamaru Kindergarten, Yuuzuru Oozora in Medarot Damashii, and Banshee-chan A in Fighting Fairy Girl Rescue Me Mave-chan. In the short-form series PUCHIM@S, she voices both Ritsuko Akizuki and an original chibi character named Chicchan. She also had a cameo role as Naomi Saeki in a Fate/Grand Order special.

Her voice acting work extends significantly into video games. Beyond her definitive role in The iDOLM@STER series, her game credits include the Puyo Puyo series, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and Rewrite.

Throughout her career, Wakabayashi has been known for her deep dedication to her roles, particularly Ritsuko Akizuki. She is an accomplished player of The iDOLM@STER arcade game, earning her the nickname Wakabayashi God from fans. Her commitment to the character is such that she adopted Ritsuko's glasses and hairstyle for live appearances, a practice that has become a hallmark of her participation in the franchise. This passion and experience have made her an unofficial leader and the spiritual core of the 765 Pro All Stars cast, often guiding her fellow cast members in live stage performances and choreography.

Wakabayashi has been married since 2008 and has a daughter, born in February 2015. Her hobbies include reading, playing tabletop RPGs, and watching foreign dramas. She also holds a certification in nutrition and in the Ogasawara school of etiquette.
