Originally from the University of Bordeaux where he studied to become a sports teacher, he relocated to Paris to pursue drama at the Studio 34 school under Claude Mathieu and Philippe Brigaud. Before dedicating himself to voice work, he spent a decade as a stage actor and co-founded a theater company, Les Camerluches, with other prominent voice actors. In the realm of animation and anime, Lebon is highly regarded for several iconic roles. He is widely known as the French voice of the enigmatic detective L in the anime series Death Note. His filmography also includes the voice of Remy the rat in Ratatouille, Doug the dog in Up, Wayne the werewolf in the Hotel Transylvania film series, and Aladdin in the Disney television series and related video games. He is also the voice of Lennox Gallagher in the Netflix original anime series Hero Mask, a role that highlights his continued presence in animated productions for streaming platforms.
