Marie-Laure Dougnac is a French actress born in Lyon in 1962 who is extensively recognized for her work in dubbing, providing the French voices for numerous characters in anime series and animated films. Her career began in theatre in 1983, and she later trained at the Classe Libre de l'École Florent.

Dougnac's voice acting portfolio is diverse, encompassing a wide range of roles in animation. She is known for voicing the character Tam Chamade in the 2019 film City Hunter: Shinjuku Private Eyes. In the same franchise, she also provided the voice for Tamara Chamade in the classic series Signé Cat's Eyes. Her work includes the role of Doniphan in the series Adrift in the Pacific and Lutinette in Mori no Yōki na Kobito-tachi: Berufi to Rirubitto. She voiced Bulle in the French adaptation of Demashitaa! Powerpuff Girls Z and Elisa in the 1989 series Mahōtsukai Sally. Her film work includes the role of Asako Tsukishima, the mother of the protagonist, in the Studio Ghibli film Whisper of the Heart. She also voiced Pan in the 1989 dub of Princess Knight for the first twelve episodes, and Erga Kenesis Di Raskreia in the series Noblesse. Other notable anime credits include Jim Hawkins in L'île au Trésor and Princess Zandra in the 1991 dub of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind.

Beyond animation, Dougnac has an extensive career in dubbing live-action films and television series, lending her voice to actresses such as Jennifer Jason Leigh, Gwyneth Paltrow, Renée Zellweger, and Catherine Zeta-Jones in the French versions of their films. Her on-screen acting is also notable, with her most famous role being Julie Clapet in the 1991 film Delicatessen by Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Marc Caro. In addition to acting, Dougnac is a writer and director of short films, including the animated short La Salle de bain d'Albert, which was invited to the Cannes Film Festival.
