Miyuki Muroi is the former stage name of Sanae Miyuki, a veteran Japanese voice actress born on April 2, 1959, in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. Her career is primarily associated with anime productions from the 1980s and 1990s, during which she was affiliated with talent management firms such as 81 Produce and Arts Vision. She is widely recognized for her later role as Botan in the popular series Yu Yu Hakusho, a performance that became one of her most celebrated works.

Under the name Miyuki Muroi, she established herself through a series of prominent roles in major science fiction and fantasy anime of the early to mid-1980s. These include voicing Shammy Milliome in The Super Dimension Fortress Macross and its film adaptation, Do You Remember Love?. She also played Mome in The Super Dimension Century Orguss and Mint Rubble in both the Genesis Climber Mospeada television series and its follow-up OVA, Genesis Climber Mospeada: Love, Live, Alive. Her work during this period includes the role of Yocchan in the feature film Obake no Q-Taro: Susume! 1/100 Daisakusen. She also voiced Caron and Kanata in different episodes of the influential OVA series Cream Lemon, and the character Pigu in the OVA Harbor Light Story - Fashion Lala yori.
