Pilar Coronado is a Spanish actress extensively recognized for her work in dubbing, particularly for the Spanish versions of numerous animated series and films. Her career encompasses theater, film, and television, though she is most renowned for her voice work in dubbing studios.

Coronado began her artistic journey in her native Pamplona, initially participating in music and independent theater from a young age. She pursued formal training at the Teatro Estable de Navarra before relocating to Madrid to continue her studies in dramatic art. Her transition into dubbing occurred organically in the late 1980s through her work in live-action films. During this period, actors were often required to dub their own lines due to limitations in direct sound recording. Coronado discovered her aptitude for this skill, which led her to study synchronization techniques and subsequently dedicate herself professionally to dubbing.

Her extensive voice acting portfolio includes a wide array of characters in the Spanish dubs of anime and animated productions. Coronado provided the voice for Setsuna Meioh, also known as Sailor Pluto, in the films Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal and Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos the Movie. She had previously voiced the same character in the Sailor Moon R television series. In addition, she lent her voice to the character Miki Hokuto, a doctor-in-training, in the Studio Ghibli film From Up On Poppy Hill. Her other anime credits include roles in long-running franchises such as Pokémon, where she voiced characters in various series and the movie Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us, as well as parts in Fullmetal Alchemist, D.Gray-man, Zatch Bell, and Super GALS!.
