Shouma Yamamoto is a Japanese actor and voice actor born on November 6, 1983, in Osaka Prefecture. He is a graduate of the Osaka University of Arts. His career began in live-action television and film, with his first major role as Tsubasa Yamagatana, also known as Dan the White Knight, in the 2006 special Garo Special: Byakuya no Maju. This marked the beginning of a long-standing association with the Garo franchise, a role he would reprise in several subsequent series and films, including Garo: Makai Senki in 2011 and Garo: Makai Retsuden in 2016. He is also known for his work in the tokusatsu genre, notably for playing dual roles in the Kamen Rider Kiva series and its film, portraying both Takato Shiramine as Kamen Rider Rey and Taiga Nobori as Kamen Rider Saga.
In addition to his live-action work, Yamamoto has built an extensive career in voice acting for anime. One of his significant roles is the character Blue in the 2014 magical girl series HappinessCharge PreCure!. He reprised this role in the franchise's crossover films, including Eiga Precure All Stars New Stage 3: Eien no Tomodachi and Eiga HappinessCharge PreCure! Ningyō no Kuni no Ballerina. His involvement with the series also extended to music, as he performed a character song for the character Blue titled Kaleidoscope Wa Shitteiru, which was featured on the HappinessCharge PreCure!
