Nanami Kashiyama is a Japanese voice actor and singer from Miyagi Prefecture, born on December 27. Her career began in 2011 after she completed her training at the Production Ace演技研究所. Her debut role was as the character Utae Sonokoe in the television anime series R-15, which aired in 2011. For this series, she also performed the opening and ending theme songs, marking her entry into anime music performance.
In the years following her debut, Kashiyama's career progressed through several agency affiliations. After starting at Production Ace, she left in May 2012 and joined Scrumstaff inc. as a singer in October of the same year. She later moved to Sun Music Production in February 2014. Since May 2017, she has been affiliated with Holy Peak.
Kashiyama is known for several key anime roles. She played Aono-san and the character Midori-chan across the multiple seasons of the Recorder and Randsell anime series, which aired between 2012 and 2013. In 2014, she was cast as Momo Kisaragi, also known as MOMO, in the SHAFT-produced anime Mekakucity Actors, an adaptation of the Kagerou Project multimedia series. She later reprised this role for the 2017 theatrical film Kageru Daze -in a day's-. Her other television anime credits include roles in The Morose Mononokean, Lostorage incited WIXOSS, and Magical Girl Site.
Beyond her voice acting, Kashiyama has demonstrated a recurring connection to music within her roles.
