Mansai Nomura is a Japanese performer primarily known as a master of kyogen, a traditional form of comic theater, but his involvement in anime and voice work, though limited, has been notable. He was born on April 5, 1966, in Tokyo, and is formally the second generation to hold the name Mansai Nomura in his kyogen lineage. His career is deeply rooted in classical Japanese performing arts, and he has also achieved significant acclaim as a film and television actor.

Nomura's voice acting credits are sparse but include high-profile animated projects. He is specifically recognized for providing the voice of the main antagonist Noroi, a formidable white weasel, in the 2015 3D CG anime film Air Bound, also known as Gamba: Gamba to Nakama-tachi. Prior to that, he lent his voice to another major animated work, portraying the Italian aircraft designer Giovanni Battista Caproni in Hayao Miyazaki's 2013 Academy Award-nominated film The Wind Rises.
