Julia von Tettenborn is a German actress and voice artist born in Bremen in 1976. She trained as a stage actress, graduating from the ETI Schauspielschule Berlin in 1999. Her career encompasses work in theater, film, and television, as well as extensive activity as a voice actress for audiobooks, documentaries, and film dubs.

In the realm of anime voice acting, von Tettenborn is primarily known for providing the German voice for the character Darjeeling from the popular series Girls und Panzer. She first voiced the character in the original 2012 to 2013 television series and has continued in the role across subsequent installments. Her work as Darjeeling includes the OVA Girls und Panzer: This is the Real Anzio Battle! from 2014, the 2015 film Girls und Panzer der Film, and multiple parts of the ongoing sequel series Girls und Panzer: Das Finale, including parts 2, 3, and 4.

Beyond her work on Girls und Panzer, von Tettenborn's voice acting career includes dubbing foreign films and series. A notable project in this area was providing the German voice for the French actress Simone Signoret in a new dubbed version of the 1948 film Die Schenke Zum Vollmond for the broadcaster arte. Her dubbing work also extends to live-action film, such as voicing the character Dr. Zoe Chow, played by Charmaine Sheh, in the 2017 action film Operation Golden Job.

In addition to her on-screen and voice work, von Tettenborn is involved in theater direction and operates a figure and mask theater in Cologne, where she also writes her own plays.
