Ettore Zuim is a Brazilian voice actor, dubbing director, and voice acting teacher with a prolific career spanning over three decades. He was born on January 11, 1960, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and began his professional journey in dubbing around 1986 at the renowned Herbert Richers studio. For the majority of his career, he was based in Rio de Janeiro, working at all the major studios in the city. Around 2015 or 2016, he relocated to São Paulo to continue his work, subsequently focusing his efforts exclusively on voice acting and teaching, stepping back from dubbing direction.

Zuim is highly regarded for his versatility, having voiced a vast array of characters across animation, live-action films, and video games. He is particularly well-known in Brazil for being the official Portuguese voice of actor Christian Bale, including his iconic portrayal of Bruce Wayne in Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises, as well as in the video games Batman: Arkham Origins, Batman: Arkham Knight, and Injustice: Gods Among Us. His repertoire as a leading voice actor includes other prominent roles such as the Brazilian voice of actor Owen Wilson in numerous films, Mugen in the anime Samurai Champloo, Fire Lord Ozai in Avatar: The Last Airbender, Captain Cold in The Flash and DC's Legends of Tomorrow, and Storm Shadow in the G.I. Joe films.

In the realm of anime, which is a specific focus of interest, his extensive voice work includes the role of Sombranyan in Yo-kai Watch: The Movie and the character José in the series In The Beginning - The Bible Stories.
