Pino Insegno is an Italian actor, voice actor, and television presenter with an extensive career in dubbing foreign productions into Italian, including a significant body of work in anime and animated films. Born Giuseppe Insegno in Rome on August 30, 1959, he began his artistic career in 1981 and rose to fame as a member of the comedy quartet Premiata Ditta. His voice is widely recognized in Italy for being the official Italian voice of actors such as Will Ferrell and Viggo Mortensen.

In the realm of anime and animation, Insegno has lent his voice to a variety of characters across several notable films. He is known for providing the Italian voice for the beloved character Totoro in the first Italian edition of Hayao Miyazaki's My Neighbor Totoro. His work in Studio Ghibli films also includes the role of Mandragora, also known as The Mandrake, in the film Earwig and the Witch. Another significant role was as the voice of the famed artist Tetsuzo, or Katsushika Hokusai, in the Italian dub of the animated film Miss Hokusai.

Beyond the specific titles mentioned, Insegno's portfolio in anime and animated features is extensive. He voiced Kumatetsu in the Italian version of The Boy and The Beast, Commander in Mazinger Z: Infinity, and has taken on roles in different dubs of Studio Ghibli classics, such as Clothowa in the 2015 edition of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind and Jigo in a modified dubbing of Princess Mononoke.
