Reiko Tajima is a Japanese actress, voice actress, and narrator, born on February 17, 1949, in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. She is a graduate of the Department of Theatre at the College of Art, Nihon University. Tajima began her entertainment career in 1971 and is affiliated with the talent agency ALPHA AGENCY.

Tajima is highly regarded for her versatile performances across live-action film, television drama, and anime. Her voice acting career is notably defined by a long-standing association with the space operas of manga artist Leiji Matsumoto. She is particularly famous for voicing the character Emeraldas across multiple productions, including the 1981 film Adieu Galaxy Express 999 and the 1982 television series Arcadia of My Youth: Endless Orbit SSX. She also voiced Queen Emeraldas in the 1982 film Arcadia of My Youth, the 1998 original video animation Queen Emeraldas, and the character of Andrésen in the Patalliro! Stardust Project series. Beyond the role of Emeraldas, her work in Matsumoto's universe includes voicing the Queen of Aquarius in the 1983 film Final Yamato.

Another landmark role in her voice acting career is Oscar François de Jarjayes in the classic 1979 anime adaptation of The Rose of Versailles, a performance that brought her nationwide recognition in Japan. Her distinctive, strong, and elegant voice has also made her a frequent choice for dubbing foreign films, where she has provided the Japanese voices for actresses such as Kathleen Turner, Faye Dunaway, and Sigourney Weaver.

In addition to her voice work, Tajima has maintained a prolific and active career in live-action television and film. Notable credits include the 1998 series GTO, a recurring role in the long-running series 3年B組金八先生 (3年B組金八先生), the 2005 series Densha Otoko, and the legal drama Suits 2 in 2020. Her career has continued steadily into the 2020s, with roles in films such as the 2022 film Sobakasu and the 2025 feature Ore de wa nai Enjō, as well as television dramas like the 2024 series Rikon Bengoshi Supaidā: Isharyō Sōdatsuhen.
