Hitomi is a Japanese voice actress born on February 15, 1967, in Osaka, Japan. She is affiliated with the talent management firm Ken Production. In addition to her work under the name Hitomi, she is also known by the pseudonym Minami Hokuto, a name she primarily uses for voice work in adult computer games, known as eroge.

Her career spans several decades, with a significant number of roles in anime television series, original video animations (OVAs), and video games. In anime, her notable roles include Primula in the Shuffle! series, Fumio Hoshino in Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, and Mihato Uesugi in Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de. She also voiced Azumi Hidaka in Mirmo Zibang!, Youko in Let's Dance With Papa, and Chihiro Tachibana in Tsuki wa Higashi ni Hi wa Nishi ni - Operation Sanctuary.
