Kaspar Eichel is a German actor and voice actor born on November 27, 1942, in Berlin. He trained at the State Drama School in Berlin-Schöneweide from 1960 to 1963, which later became the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Art. Eichel has had an extensive career on stage and in film and television, appearing in numerous German series such as Polizeiruf 110 and Tatort. In the realm of voice acting, he is widely recognized as the German dubbing voice for prominent actors including Robert Redford, Patrick Stewart, and James Doohan.

Eichel has also lent his voice to a substantial number of characters in German-language dubs of anime productions. He voiced Genzou Senou in the film Giovanni's Island and took on the role of the Narrator in Harlock: Space Pirate. He is credited as the voice of Shepard in the Spirit of Wonder Scientific Boys Club projects and as Giraffe in the Space Sagittarius series. He provided the voice for Jougasaki in Kikou Keisatsu Metal Jack and played the role of Great Grandfather in the film A Letter to Momo.
