Kelsey Maher, also known by her married name Kelsey Maher Cruz, is an American voice actor known for her work in English dubs of anime series. She developed an interest in acting from a young age and initially pursued a different path, studying at a leadership college with the goal of becoming a children's pastor. However, her involvement in skits during that time reaffirmed her passion for performance, leading her to audition for and enroll in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program in acting for the stage and screen at Azusa Pacific University in 2014.

After graduating in 2017, Maher remained in Los Angeles seeking work in film before transitioning into voice acting. Her entry into the field began with recording audiobooks, which she found to be a valuable, albeit painstaking, learning experience. She further honed her skills by taking classes at voice-over studios, including Real Voice LA and a Bang Zoom! workshop led by Tony Oliver. A significant step in her career came during the COVID-19 pandemic when she was encouraged by fellow voice actor Jordan Dash Cruz, whom she later married, to audition for Crunchyroll, the Dallas-based company specializing in English dubs.

Since then, Maher has provided voices for a wide array of characters in over one hundred anime series, working not only with Crunchyroll but also as a freelance actor at other studios. Her roles span various genres, from heroes and villains to comedic side characters and even non-human roles such as talking elephants and magical creatures.

Among her notable credits are several of the roles specified. She voices Tsukasa Gojōin in The Maid I Hired Recently Is Mysterious, Asami Yuki in Higehiro, Ayumi Togeguchi in Akebi's Sailor Uniform, and April Atwood in the second cour of The Ancient Magus' Bride season two. Her filmography also includes prominent roles in major franchises such as One Piece, Spy×Family, and Attack on Titan, as well as characters in The Apothecary Diaries, More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers, and Shangri-La Frontier.

Maher is married to fellow voice actor Jordan Dash Cruz, whom she met through an online voice-over community. The couple, who share a Christian faith, live in Texas and both work as voice actors, often attending anime conventions together to meet fans. Maher has spoken about her journey overcoming social anxiety and embraces the opportunity her career provides to explore different facets of her personality through the diverse characters she portrays.
