Roland Hemmo is a German actor and voice artist, born on 25 February 1946 in Weißwasser, Germany. He is widely recognized for his extensive work in dubbing, providing the German voices for numerous characters in international film and television productions. His career in voice acting began in the late 1970s, and he has since lent his voice to thousands of roles. Hemmo is also an accomplished stage actor, having performed in over 1500 productions at prominent theaters in Berlin, including the Deutsches Theater and the Staatsoper. He trained at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Within the realm of anime, Roland Hemmo is a prolific voice actor in the German dubbing industry. He is notably the regular German voice of the narrator in the Dragon Ball franchise, having voiced this role in Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Z Kai, and Dragon Ball Super.
