Hitomi Ueda is a Japanese voice actress born on July 29th and from Kyoto Prefecture. She is affiliated with the talent agency Aoni Production.
Her interest in a voice acting career began in junior high school after hearing a narration by fellow Aoni Production talent Kazuya Nakai, which opened her eyes to the diverse range of work in the field. She pursued this goal by enrolling in the Osaka campus of Aonijuku, the training school affiliated with her future agency, graduating as part of its 30th class. Ueda also attended Doshisha University's Faculty of Policy Studies, where she was a member of the sailing club. Her first named role in an anime was as Aki Hiyami in the series World Trigger.
Ueda's career is marked by several prominent and recurring roles. She is perhaps best known for voicing the character Gold Ship across multiple entries in the popular mixed-media franchise Uma Musume Pretty Derby, including the original video game, the main anime television series, and various spin-off animations.
