Moe Kahara is a Japanese voice actress born on December 18, 2000, in Osaka Prefecture. She began her career in 2019 under the stage name Moeka Kishimoto before officially changing her name to Moe Kahara on July 1, 2021. Her interest in voice acting was sparked during elementary school through anime such as Sailor Moon and Pretty Cure, leading her to enroll in the Osaka School of Music during her first year of high school to study acting. She successfully auditioned for the agency Yūrin Pro in her second year of high school and moved to Tokyo after graduating. After leaving Yūrin Pro on March 31, 2022, she worked as a freelancer for three months before joining her current agency, Holy Peak, on July 1, 2022.

Kahara's first professional work was for a browser game, and she has since built a diverse portfolio across anime and video games. Her first major anime role came in 2021 as Tomoe Inui in How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom. The same year, she was cast as Akari in The Executioner and Her Way of Life, which aired in 2022. She has taken on a variety of other significant roles, including Fuuko Izumo in Undead Unluck, Liliah in The Strongest Sage with the Weakest Crest, and Hasu in In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki. More recent roles include Shion Tanizaki in Narenare -Cheer for You!-, Momiji in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3, and Mikoto Amano in Murder Mystery of the Dead. Her filmography also extends to video games, with voice roles in popular titles such as Monster Strike, Uma Musume Pretty Derby, and Path to Nowhere. In 2023, she attended the United States premiere of the film Kaina of the Great Snow Sea: Star Sage at Anime Expo.
