Julia Haacke is a German actress and voice actress born on September 2, 1971, in Munich. She began her career with training in dance and voice acting, studying under Mela Marchand, and took acting classes in Munich, Vienna, and Los Angeles between 1989 and 1996. Her voice acting career began in 1994 when she became the German voice of American actress Jennie Garth, most notably for the role of Kelly Taylor in Beverly Hills, 90210, which brought her widespread recognition. Beyond animation, she has also worked as a screen actress, appearing in television series such as Verbotene Liebe and Sturm der Liebe.

Haacke has lent her voice to a wide array of characters in anime and animated productions. In the Resident Evil franchise, she voiced Claire Redfield in the 2008 CGI film Resident Evil: Degeneration. She also voiced the character Wendy in the anime series Peter Pan & Wendy. Her other anime roles include Lilly in Mori no Yōki na Kobito-tachi: Berufi to Rirubitto, Melissa in Montana Jones, and Sammy in Pokémon 4Ever.

Her extensive voice work spans numerous other notable series and films. She is well-known for providing the German voice of Rei Hino / Sailor Mars in the Sailor Moon series and its associated films. She also voiced Shippō in the InuYasha franchise, including the television series, The Final Act, and multiple movies. Additional credits include Kodachi Kuno in Ranma ½, various roles in the One Piece franchise, Hehe in Ojamajo Doremi, and Charlotte Elbourne in Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. Her work is not limited to anime; she also voiced Daphne Blake in numerous Scooby-Doo films for over a decade and has provided voices for characters in series such as South Park and Martin Mystery.

Throughout her career, Haacke has been recognized for her versatile vocal range and has contributed to well over two hundred roles. She has also worked as a dialogue writer and director for the Disney Channel.
