Walter Reichelt was a German actor and voice actor, recognized for his extensive work in dubbing international films and television series, particularly animated productions, for German-speaking audiences. He began his voice work around 1960 and became known for lending his distinctive voice to a wide array of characters over several decades.

In the realm of anime, Reichelt contributed to the German-language versions of several series. He voiced the character Muminpapa in the 1990 to 1991 anime series Die Mumins. He also took on the role of Jehan in the anime adaptation of the classic story A Dog of Flanders. Additionally, he voiced the Viking chief Halvar in the popular anime series Wickie und die starken Männer.

Beyond these specific roles, Reichelt's voice was heard in numerous other animated series and films. He voiced Sir Tuxford in Die Gummibärenbande. He was also the German voice for characters such as Yosemite Sam in Mein Name ist Hase, the bulldog Spike in Tom und Jerry cartoons, and Waldorf in Die Muppet Show.
