Myriam Sirois

Myriam Sirois is a Canadian actress and voice actress, born on February 2, 1975, in Sept-Îles, Quebec. Her career in the entertainment industry spanned from the late 1980s to approximately 2008, during which she built a notable body of work in both animation and live-action television and film.
Sirois is primarily recognized for her extensive voice work in English dubs of anime series and films produced in the 1990s. Her most prominent and defining role is providing the English voice of Akane Tendo in the beloved anime series Ranma ½. She voiced the character across the original television series, which aired from 1989 to 1992, as well as in the subsequent original video animation series and several animated films. These films include Ranma ½: The Movie, Big Trouble in Nekonron, China; Ranma ½: The Movie 2, Nihao My Concubine; and the specific film Ranma ½: Chō-musabetsu kessen! Ranma team VS densetsu no hōō, which features the storyline involving a legendary phoenix.
In addition to her signature role in Ranma ½, Sirois voiced other characters in English adaptations of Japanese animation. She provided the voice of Sulia Gaudeamus in the 1994 animated film Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture. She also lent her voice to the English version of the science fiction series Please Save My Earth, playing Sakura Kokushou, and took on roles in the series Dragon Ball Z.
