Ilaria Stagni is an Italian voice actress, dialogue writer, and dubbing director, born in Milan on November 10, 1967. She was born into a family with a strong tradition in dubbing, as she is the daughter of voice actors Vittorio Stagni and Lorenza Biella. Her career, which began in the 1980s, has made her a prominent figure in the Italian dubbing industry, known for her extensive work in both live-action and animation.

A significant portion of Stagni's career is dedicated to dubbing characters in Japanese anime for the Italian audience. Her roles in this field include Shampoo in various productions of the series "Ranma ½," such as "Team Ranma vs. The Legendary Phoenix". She is also the voice of Maya in "The Adventures of Hutch the Honeybee" and its series "Konchu Monogatari Shin Minashigo Hutch". Other notable anime roles include Tam Tam in "Fuusen Shoujo Temple-chan," Elisa in "Mori no Tonto-tachi" (also known as "Alla scoperta di Babbo Natale" in Italian), and Shippo in the first season of "Inuyasha". Her repertoire further extends to Jiji the cat in "Kiki's Delivery Service," Skuld in "Oh My Goddess!," and Mokona in films for "Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle" and "xxxHOLiC".

Beyond her anime work, Stagni is widely recognized for being the official Italian voice of Bart Simpson in the animated series "The Simpsons" from its first season through the twenty-second, as well as in "The Simpsons Movie". She has been the primary Italian voice for actresses such as Jennifer Lopez, Eva Longoria, Salma Hayek, Winona Ryder, and Scarlett Johansson in many of their roles. She is also known for dubbing Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCallister in the "Home Alone" films.

Throughout her career, Stagni has worked with various dubbing studios, including a period of exclusive work with CVD starting in 1997, before becoming a freelance voice actress. In 2006, she received the Leggio d'oro award for best female interpretation of the year for her dubbing of Jennifer Lopez in the film "An Unfinished Life" (titled "Il vento del perdono" in Italian).
