Mark Hildreth is a Canadian actor and musician widely recognized for his extensive work in voice acting, particularly in anime produced during the 1990s and 2000s. Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, on January 24, 1978, he began his career in entertainment at a young age, starting as a performer at five years old and landing his first major voice role at ten as the voice of Beany in the animated series Beany and Cecil. He is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada, with a background that includes stage work and a Jessie Richardson Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in Candida.

Hildreth is most prominently known for voicing the lead character Heero Yuy in the English dubs of the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing television series and its sequel, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz. This role remains one of his most iconic performances among anime fans. Another notable early anime role was providing the voice of Eric in the 1986 science fiction OVA The Humanoid, for which an English dub was produced in Vancouver years later.
