Peter Marinker is a Canadian-born British actor with an extensive career in voice acting for animation, as well as film, television, and stage. Born on July 28, 1941, he has been active in the entertainment industry since the late 1960s and is particularly recognized for his work dubbing numerous Japanese anime series into English for UK audiences. His voice is often associated with authoritative, stern, and commanding characters.

Marinker's voice can be heard in a wide range of anime titles from the late 1980s and 1990s, a period of significant anime distribution in the West. He provided the English narration for the beloved children's series Tanoshii Moomin Ikka, taking over as the Narrator from episode 27 onward.
