Hunter MacKenzie Austin is an American voice actress known for her extensive work in English dubs of anime series and video games. Active in the industry since 1987, she is also recognized by the alternative names Hunter Austin and Caroline Gilshian.

Austin's career began in her childhood in San Diego, California, where she developed an early interest in show business. As a young teen, she independently pursued opportunities in acting, securing roles in commercials and theater productions. Her entry into voice-over work started around the age of fourteen, coinciding with her on-camera acting work. She later became involved with New Generation Pictures, a relationship that led to her being cast in numerous anime dubs.

Her filmography includes a wide range of anime roles. She voiced Yuka Morisaki in both the I''s and I''s Pure original video animations. She also provided the voice for Madoka Mido in the series Starship Girl Yamamoto Yohko and its sequel, Starship Girl Yamamoto Yohko II. Another notable role is Ayumi the Turtle in the series Angel Tales. Austin's other prominent anime credits include Michelle Cheung in R.O.D the TV, Hikari in Haibane Renmei, Kaku Bunwa in the Ikki Tousen franchise, and additional roles in series such as Paranoia Agent, Ghost Talker's Daydream, and Strawberry Eggs.

In addition to anime, Austin has had a significant presence in video game voice acting. She is well-known for voicing the character Hsien-Ko in Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. She has also voiced Nowi in Fire Emblem Awakening and reprised the role along with Clarine and Rebecca in Fire Emblem Heroes. Her other video game credits include roles in the Tales of, Valkyrie Profile, Final Fantasy, and Star Ocean franchises.

A notable achievement in her career came in 2005 when she was voted Best Actress in an Animated Series by Anime On DVD for her performance as Michelle Cheung in R.O.D the TV.
