Carlo Marini was an Italian actor and voice actor, born on April 27, 1950, in Cusano, Lombardy. He passed away on January 5, 2019, at the age of 68. His career spanned several decades and included work in live-action film, television, and theater, but he is most widely recognized for his extensive contributions to the field of dubbing, particularly for anime series and Western films released in Italy.

Before becoming a prominent voice in dubbing, Marini appeared in Italian films such as W la foca, Cugine mie, and Von Buttiglione Sturmtruppenführer, as well as television movies like Il testimone and Posso chiamarti amore?. He also had a background in theater, performing in productions of Coriolano in 1975 and Il sipario ducale in 1976, both directed by Franco Enriquez. For many years, he was the narrator for the popular Rete 4 documentary series La macchina del tempo.

In the realm of anime and animation, Marini provided the Italian voices for a wide array of characters. His work includes the role of the narrator in the classic series Candy Candy and for the second edition of Mobile Suit Gundam.
