Michael Lindsay was an American voice actor known for his extensive work in English dubs of anime series and films. He was born on May 9, 1963, in Washington, D.C., and passed away on August 31, 2019, at the age of 56. He studied theatre at Adelphi University.

Lindsay's career in voice acting spanned from approximately 1979 until his retirement in 2012. In the earlier part of his career, he was frequently credited under the pseudonym Dylan Tully. Some of his most prominent and enduring roles include Kisuke Urahara in the series Bleach, Kankuro in Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden, as well as Joe Kido and the voice of Greymon in the Digimon franchise. He also provided the voice for the protagonist Amuro Ray in the English dub of the first three compilation films of Mobile Suit Gundam, under the name Dylan Tully. One of his many roles was George Kodama in the 2001 anime series Kaze no Yojimbo.

Beyond these signature parts, Lindsay built a substantial body of work with a wide variety of characters across numerous other series. His voice could be heard in shows such as Code Geass as Shinichirō Tamaki, Outlaw Star as Tobigera, s-CRY-ed as Kyoji Mujo, Marmalade Boy as Yuu Matsuura, and Transformers: Robots in Disguise as Rollbar and Skid-Z, among many others. He also lent his talents to video games, with roles including Joachim Armster in Castlevania: Lament of Innocence and reprising his role as Kankuro in various Naruto video games.

Following his retirement in 2012, many of his best-known anime roles, such as Kisuke Urahara and Kankuro, were recast to other voice actors, including Doug Erholtz. Lindsay passed away in Laurel, Maryland, and is survived by his wife and two children.
