Katsuhiro Nanba

Katsuhiro Nanba is a Japanese actor and voice actor born on February 19, 1967, in Shibuya, Tokyo. He was an electronics enthusiast from childhood and was active in both stage acting and voice acting during his school years. He was affiliated with the theatre group Gekidan Komadori.
Nanba began his acting career in live-action television, appearing in the 1980 drama series 1年B組新八先生 in the role of Saburo Tagami. His entry into voice acting came during his high school years when he was cast as Roddy Shuffle in the 1983 science fiction anime series Round Vernian Vifam. He continued to voice this character in subsequent OVAs related to the franchise, including Round Vernian Vifam: Memory of Ms. Kate, Round Vernian Vifam: 12 Fade Away, and others released in 1984 and 1985.
His other early anime roles include Gordon in the 1982 animated film Fifteen Boys Drift, based on the novel by Jules Verne, and Chigma in the 1984 mecha series Heavy Metal L-Gaim. He also had roles in the 1986 anthology series Sumitomo Seimei Seishun Anime Zenshu and the 1981 series Donbey Monogatari.
Nanba is associated with works by manga artist Mitsuru Adachi. A notable example is his role as Makoto Nakaoka in the 1987 television anime adaptation of Adachi's manga Hiatari Ryoko. He also voiced Makoto Aido in the 1988 anime film related to the series, Hiatari Ryoko! KA・SU・MI: Yume no Naka ni Kimi ga Ita.
Throughout his career, he has had recurring opportunities to work alongside fellow voice actress Minami Takayama.
