Tomoko Ishimura is a Japanese voice actress born on February 24, 1972, in Zama, Kanagawa Prefecture. She is affiliated with the talent agency 81 Produce. Throughout her career, her work has been credited under several different names. Until August 1999, she used the stage name Mifuyu Hiiragi. From that point until April 2004, she was credited as Kyoko Tsuruno, after which she returned to using her real name, Tomoko Ishimura.

Ishimura has built an extensive career spanning from the early 1990s, with a particular concentration of prominent roles in anime television series and original video animations throughout the decade. Among her many credits are the two roles specified. In the OVA series Guardian Hearts Power Up!, she voices the character Kurusu. She also provides the voice for Jeep, the small dragon who can transform into a vehicle, in the series Saiyuki.

Her filmography demonstrates considerable range, featuring in a wide variety of popular and long-running franchises. Some of her most recognized roles include Martina Zoana Mel Navratilova in Slayers Next, Millenium Feria Nocturne in Lost Universe, Dante in Romeo's Blue Skies, and Chisa Shinohara in Fancy Lala. She also had roles in significant series such as Detective Conan, InuYasha, Trigun, and Zoids: Chaotic Century. In addition to anime, her voice work extends to video games, including the character Kytes in Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings.
