Irene Tolentino

Irene Tolentino is a Filipino voice actor known for her work in the Tagalog-language dubs of various anime series. Her full birth name is Irene Pineda Tolentino. She has contributed her voice to a range of characters, often in supporting roles, across different genres of animation.

Her career includes a number of notable credits. She is recognized for voicing Ayako Matsuzaki in the supernatural horror series Ghost Hunt and for providing the voice of Kotori's Mother in the popular idol anime Love Live! School idol project and its second season. In the long-running fantasy series Inuyasha, Tolentino took on the role of the demon slayer Sango, a part she continued in the sequel series InuYasha: The Final Act. Her other voice roles include Sophie Randall in Code Geass: Akito the Exiled, Jura Basil Elden in Vandread, and Tokiko in Kekkaishi.

Beyond acting, Tolentino has also worked in a production capacity. She served as an Assistant Dubbing Director for the Tagalog version of the series Koi Koi Seven. This demonstrates her involvement in the localization process of anime for a Filipino audience.
