Beate Pfeiffer is a German actress and voice actress with a career spanning over three decades, during which she has lent her voice to numerous characters in anime and animated series. Born in 1963 in Dudweiler, Saarland, she trained at the Saarländisches Staatstheater Saarbrücken and the Otto-Falckenberg Schule in Munich in the early 1980s. Her professional work is based in Munich, and she is active in both on-screen and voice acting roles.

Pfeiffer's voice acting portfolio includes a variety of notable anime characters. She is the German voice of Anna Kyoyama in the series Shaman King, a powerful spirit medium and the formidable fiancée of the protagonist, Yoh Asakura. In the Studio Ghibli film From Up On Poppy Hill, she voices Miki Hokuto, a medical intern and tenant at the Coquelicot Manor boarding house. Her work also extends to the Pokémon franchise, where she voiced the Mythical Pokémon Manaphy in the film Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea. Another of her significant roles is Sae Sawanoguchi, a clumsy but powerful magic user, in the series Magic User's Club.
