Vanessa Morley

Description
Vanessa Morley is a Canadian actress and voice artist, born on August 9, 1986, in British Columbia, Canada. Her career in the entertainment industry began in the early 1990s as a child actor, with appearances in live-action television series such as The Commish, The Outer Limits, and The X-Files, in which she played the recurring role of a young Samantha Mulder. She also appeared in films like Look Who's Talking Now and Masterminds during this period.

In the realm of voice acting, Morley is primarily recognized for her work in English dubs of anime series produced in Vancouver. Her most prominent role is providing the English voice for Cagalli Yula Athha in the Ocean Productions dub of the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise. She voiced the character across both Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and its sequel Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny, including the compilation films Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny Special Edition and the original video animation Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny Final Plus: The Chosen Future. Her portrayal of the strong-willed princess was noted for being fittingly tomboyish.

Beyond the Gundam series, her anime voice credits include the role of Michelle Cay in the English version of Infinite Ryvius and a role in Sabrina: The Animated Series. Her work in animation also extends to features such as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Movie and Groove Squad.

Throughout her career, Morley has frequently collaborated with a circle of voice actors and performers based in the Vancouver industry. Notable recurring collaborators include Brian Drummond, with whom she worked on Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny, Gundam SEED, and Infinite Ryvius, as well as actors like Jay Brazeau and Garry Chalk.
