Gabriel Gama is a Mexican actor and director of dubbing, recognized for his extensive career voicing characters in Spanish-language versions of animated series and films, particularly in the realm of anime. Born Héctor Gabriel Gama Peña on January 1, 1968, in Mexico City, he studied Dramatic Art at the National Institute of Fine Arts (INBA). His career in dubbing began after initial technical work in audio, leading him to pursue acting and train under notable figures in the Mexican dubbing industry.

Gama is perhaps best known for his long-running role as Brock in the Pokémon anime. He first voiced the character from the series' fifth episode and continued in the role for hundreds of episodes until his departure during the Diamond & Pearl series. He later returned to voice Brock for special appearances in later seasons, including the Sun & Moon series, and in the film Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution. Beyond this signature role, Gama has lent his voice to a wide array of prominent anime characters. He is the voice of Yoh Asakura in the 2001 adaptation of Shaman King, the Monk Miroku in Inuyasha, Maximilian Pegasus in Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Tatewaki Kuno in Ranma ½. His film work includes voicing Tenya Iida in My Hero Academia: Two Heroes and Satoshi Mashiba in A Silent Voice. Other credited anime roles include Justy Ueki Tylor in The Irresponsible Captain Tylor and Bucky in Bucky - The Incredible Kid.

In addition to his voice acting, Gabriel Gama has worked extensively as a dubbing director. He served as the dubbing director for Pokémon from the latter part of its sixth season through the beginning of its tenth. His directorial work also includes the anime series Inuyasha and the film A Silent Voice. Leveraging his decades of experience, Gama founded his own dubbing company, Koe Dubbing Master México, in 2017, which has handled projects including films for the My Hero Academia franchise.
