Jonathan Ramírez is a Mexican voice actor and broadcaster based in Miami, Florida, with over two decades of experience in the industry. Originally from Mexico City, he relocated to Miami and built a career that spans voice-over work for commercials, television, and animation, as well as work as a presenter and host. He began his professional journey in the United States working in account management at an advertising agency, which led to involvement in voice-over recording sessions and ultimately a career change into voice acting. His first major voice-over opportunity was a commercial for Delta Airlines.
In the realm of anime dubbing, Ramírez has contributed his voice to several series for international distribution. He is known for his work on the globally distributed series My Hero Academia, where he voices multiple characters including the Hero Backdraft, Native, Kesagiri Man, and Onima. He also played the role of a Hoodlum, or matón, in the series Akudama Drive. His other anime credits include additional voices in Glitter Force and Higurashi: When They Cry - GOU, as well as the My Hero Academia OVA.
Beyond anime, Ramírez has an extensive body of work in animated series.
