Brian Mathew Ligsay is a Filipino voice actor, voice director, and audio professional with a career spanning radio, animation dubbing, and commercial voice-over work. He began his career in broadcasting at the age of sixteen, working as a disc jockey under names such as DJ Big Brian and Brian Mathews for several Filipino radio stations, including COOL 106.7FM and 91.5 ENERGYFM. He later transitioned into voice acting and audio engineering, holding key positions such as Chief Operating Officer of CreatiVoices Productions before establishing his own audio production company, The Mothership Recording Studios, OPC.

Ligsay is known for his extensive work in anime dubbing, where he has provided voices for numerous characters in Tagalog-localized versions of popular series. One of his credited roles is that of Mao Dante, also known as Demon Lord Dante, in the series Demon Lord Dante, a role that also involved him serving as an assistant director and translator for the project. His other notable anime voice roles include playing multiple characters, such as Hijikata Toshizou in Shura No Toki, Chief Tanaka and Tony Gleck in 8 Man After, and Mike or Ohtori Akio in Revolutionary Girl Utena. In a demonstration of his vocal range, he performed eighteen distinct character roles in the series Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad. Beyond anime, his work in Asian drama dubbing includes the role of Chairman Robert Kang in the Koreanovela Lovers, which aired on ABS-CBN.

In addition to his on-screen voice work, Ligsay has established a significant career as a voice director for both local and international projects. He has directed and cast voices for animated films in Korea and India. His directorial work in the gaming industry includes several titles for Sega China and Sega Japan, such as Golden Gun, Operation Ghost, and Transformers: Human Alliance. He also served as a voice director for the first Filipino 3D game published abroad, where he coached television personalities Mike Enriquez and Vicky Morales. His contributions to the field extend to educational software, where he directed the Tagalog version of Rosetta Stone version 3.

Ligsay is also an author, educator, and advocate for the voice acting industry in the Philippines. He founded VoiceWorx!, one of the first Philippine voice acting workshops, and has written books on the subject of voice-over work. He is frequently invited as a speaker for university lectures and industry events to discuss voice acting and animation.
