Brian Mathew Ligsay is a Filipino voice actor, voice director, and audio professional with a career spanning radio, animation dubbing, and commercial voice-over work. He began his career in broadcasting at the age of sixteen, working as a disc jockey under names such as DJ Big Brian and Brian Mathews for several Filipino radio stations, including COOL 106.7FM and 91.5 ENERGYFM. He later transitioned into voice acting and audio engineering, holding key positions such as Chief Operating Officer of CreatiVoices Productions before establishing his own audio production company, The Mothership Recording Studios, OPC.
Ligsay is known for his extensive work in anime dubbing, where he has provided voices for numerous characters in Tagalog-localized versions of popular series. One of his credited roles is that of Mao Dante, also known as Demon Lord Dante, in the series Demon Lord Dante, a role that also involved him serving as an assistant director and translator for the project. His other notable anime voice roles include playing multiple characters, such as Hijikata Toshizou in Shura No Toki, Chief Tanaka and Tony Gleck in 8 Man After, and Mike or Ohtori Akio in Revolutionary Girl Utena.
