Stuart Milligan is an American actor and voice artist, born in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1953, who has built a prolific career in the United Kingdom. He began working for the BBC in 1979 and became a sought-after voice on British radio, frequently called upon for American-sounding roles in various productions. This radio work included playing Superman in multiple DC Comics projects for the BBC between 1988 and 1993, as well as the Riddler in a 1994 adaptation of Batman: Knightfall.
In the 1990s, Milligan became a prominent voice in English-language dubs of Japanese anime, particularly for productions by Manga Entertainment in the UK. He voiced Dr. Daisuke Ido, the cybernetics doctor who rebuilds the cyborg heroine, in the 1993 UK dub of the OVA Battle Angel. In the movie Odin: Starlight Mutiny, he took on the role of Naoki Ryo. He voiced Killy Gagley in the Manga UK dub of the 1985 film GoShogun: The Time Étranger. Another of his roles from this period was Izosaki in the OVA Goku II: Midnight Eye.
Milligan's work in anime extends to a wide range of other titles from the era. His credits include roles in The Guyver: Bio-Booster Armor, Genocyber, Mad Bull 34, and Bubblegum Crash for Manga UK.
