Reiko Chiba

Description
Reiko Chiba is a Japanese actress and voice actress born on January 8, 1975. She began her career as a model in 1991 before transitioning to screen acting, with her debut role being Mei, the Ptera Ranger, in the 1992 Super Sentai series Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger. Her voice acting work is closely associated with projects from the game company SNK and was primarily concentrated in the early to mid-1990s.

Chiba's most prominent voice roles are within the Samurai Shodown franchise. She provided the voice for the character Nakoruru in the 1994 anime film Samurai Shodown: The Motion Picture. Her involvement with the series extended to performing the image song "Koko ni Oide" for the character and appearing in live-action commercials for Samurai Shodown II. Additionally, she voiced a different character from the same franchise, Cham Cham, in the Samurai Shodown video game series. Her connection to SNK also included a cameo voice appearance as herself in the anime Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture and contributing vocals to the theme song for Fatal Fury Special.

Beyond her work with SNK, Chiba's filmography includes the role of Iko in the 1994 anime OVA Wild 7. Later in her career, she returned to provide the voice for her signature character, the Ptera Ranger, in the 2014 film Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger vs. Go-Busters: The Great Dinosaur Battle! Farewell Our Eternal Friends.

While a role for her in the anime Otaku no Seiza is mentioned in some user queries, available information does not confirm a voice acting part. Records show she was a singer on the ending theme for that production, which featured a collective of performers including Aurora 5 Nin Musume, a group of which Chiba was a member. Chiba retired from the entertainment industry in 1995 and has since built a career as a certified yoga instructor.
