Harunori Miyata is the former stage name of Kōki Miyata, a veteran Japanese voice actor born on October 9, 1972, in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. He began his career in 1993 with a debut narrating a radio commercial and was initially active under the name Harunori Miyata. In 1999, he changed his stage name to Kōki Miyata upon transferring to his current agency, 81 Produce. As Harunori Miyata, he is credited with the role of Pochi in the 1996 original video animation Ninja Cadets.

His vocal delivery is characterized by a high, androgynous timbre, which has led him to be frequently cast in roles for young boys to teenage characters. This distinctive voice has become his professional trademark, allowing him to portray a wide range of personalities, from gentle and timid to characters with a darker, more shadowed side.

Throughout his career, Miyata has built an extensive filmography across anime, video games, and drama CDs. Some of his most notable anime roles include Hanatarō Yamada in Bleach, Ken Murata in Kyo Kara Maoh!, Kantarou Ichinomiya in Tactics, and Ukyo in Amnesia. He has also had prominent roles in long-running and popular series such as Chōjūrō in Naruto Shippuden and Boruto: Naruto the Movie, Aiichiro Nitori in the Free! franchise, Terufumi Sugimoto in Yowamushi Pedal, and Kotaro Tatsumi in Baka to Test to Shōkanjū. In the Danganronpa franchise, he voiced the characters Chihiro Fujisaki, Alter Ego, and Taichi Fujisaki. His work also includes the role of Murata in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and the Zombie Devil in Chainsaw Man.

Miyata has been a recurring presence in the Harukanaru Toki no Naka de franchise, voicing characters such as Shimon Nagareyama, Akifumi, and Musashibō Benkei across its anime adaptations, video games, and drama CDs. He is also known for his extensive work in dubbing foreign films and television series into Japanese. Notably, he is the Japanese voice of Phineas Flynn in Phineas and Ferb, Beast Boy in Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go!, and the third Japanese voice for SpongeBob SquarePants. His other dubbing credits include roles in The Hobbit film series, Garfield's Pet Force, and the Care Bears movies.

In recognition of his talent and contribution to the industry, Kōki Miyata received the award for Best Supporting Actor at the first Seiyu Awards in 2007. Beyond anime, his work extends to tokusatsu dramas, where he has provided voiceovers for creatures in series like Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger and Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger.
