Harunori Miyata is the former stage name of Kōki Miyata, a veteran Japanese voice actor born on October 9, 1972, in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. He began his career in 1993 with a debut narrating a radio commercial and was initially active under the name Harunori Miyata. In 1999, he changed his stage name to Kōki Miyata upon transferring to his current agency, 81 Produce. As Harunori Miyata, he is credited with the role of Pochi in the 1996 original video animation Ninja Cadets.
His vocal delivery is characterized by a high, androgynous timbre, which has led him to be frequently cast in roles for young boys to teenage characters. This distinctive voice has become his professional trademark, allowing him to portray a wide range of personalities, from gentle and timid to characters with a darker, more shadowed side.
