Karen Nunes is a Brazilian actress and voice actor, born in Rio de Janeiro on June 28, 1988. Her path to a career in voice acting was inspired during her time as a cinema student, which rekindled a childhood interest in the art of dubbing. After gaining experience in live-action short films and studying theater, she obtained her professional acting registration. In 2017, following several specialized courses in dubbing, she began her career as a voice actor.

Nunes has built a substantial portfolio in anime, providing the Brazilian Portuguese voices for a range of characters. Among her most recognized roles are Anju Emma in the mecha anime 86, and the demon Melascula in The Seven Deadly Sins: Imperial Wrath of The Gods. Her other notable anime work includes Ikuno in Darling in the Franxx, Yuko Tachikawa in Parasyte -the maxim-, and Nao Sadazuka in Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma. She has also lent her voice to characters in series such as The God of High School, I’m Standing on a Million Lives, and provided additional voices for popular titles like Jujutsu Kaisen and Tokyo Revengers.

Beyond anime, Nunes's voice acting work extends to western animation, where she voices Kat in Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series, and live-action series, with credits in productions such as Another Life and Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker.
