Luis Galindo is an American actor with a career spanning over twenty-five years in theatre, television, film, and voice acting. He is also an accomplished poet and educator. Galindo received a Master of Fine Arts in classical theatre performance from the University of Delaware's Professional Theatre Training Program, which laid the foundation for a prolific stage career that has included over one hundred roles. He has performed with theatre companies across the United States, including in New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles, and was a company member of the Independent Shakespeare Company of Los Angeles, where he also served on the board of directors. His experience extends to teaching acting at institutions such as Tulane University, the New York Film Academy, and the Alley Theatre in Houston.

In the realm of anime voice acting, Galindo is known for his work in English dubs, frequently for productions by studios like Sentai Filmworks and Crunchyroll. One of his prominent roles is providing the voice of King Sweyn in the English dubbed version of the anime series Vinland Saga. His other voice credits in animation include the role of King Clays in the English dub of I Parry Everything. He also contributed additional voices to the animated short film Blade Runner: Black Out 2022. His process for anime dubbing has been described as a fast-paced, one-take creation process.

Beyond his performance work, Galindo is a writer. He has authored two volumes of poetry, Electric Rats in a Neon Gutter and The Roaring Dawn, The Silent Mountain, and a play titled The Tale of the Barrio Jedi. His diverse professional background prior to acting includes work as a Texas pipeliner, an offshore oil rig worker, and a New York City bartender.
