Ayano Niina

Description
Ayano Niina is a Japanese voice actress born on February 4, 1988, in Aomori Prefecture and raised in Gunma Prefecture. She is affiliated with the talent agency VIMS. She is a graduate of the training school attached to ARTSVISION's Japan Narration Acting Institute. She began her career under her birth name, Ayano Matsumoto, before adopting her current stage name in 2008.

Niina made her voice acting debut in 2004, landing her first major role as Musume Red (Sanshiki Red) in the television anime series "流星戦隊ムスメット" (Ryusei Sentai Musumet). Early in her career, she also took on roles in真人演出, serving as an assistant on the variety program "花の声優界! スター☆ボウリング" from 2005 to 2008 and as a substitute navigator for the NHKBS2 program "卫星动画剧场" in 2005. She also gained experience in radio, serving as the 18th regular personality on the NACK5 program "VOICE CREAM" alongside voice actor Yuuki Shimowada from 2006 to 2007.

Her career spans roles in anime, video games, and original video animations. A notable early anime role was as Yukari Kamioka in the 2006 series "乙女はお姉さまに恋してる" (Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru). In 2009, she provided the voice for Lisette (Weltall Lisette) in the television anime "11eyes". The following year, she voiced Kanako Watanabe in the acclaimed series "STAR DRIVER 閃光のタクト" (Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto). She also voiced the character Rio in the 2014 original anime DVD (OAD) "無邪気の楽園" (Paradise of Innocence), which was bundled with a limited-edition volume of the manga.

In addition to her anime work, Niina has been active in video games. She is well-known for her role as Ririsu Tōmachi in the "Memories Off" series, specifically in "Memories Off 6: T-wave" and its fandisc "Memories Off 6: Next Relation". Her other game credits include Lizdel (Lisette) in "11eyes CrossOver" and Mammon in "Umineko: When They Cry". She has also contributed her voice to pachinko machines, such as playing the role of Toyotomi Hideyoshi in "CR Sengoku Otome".

A recurring, though likely coincidental, observation in her early career was that many of the characters she voiced, such as Musume Red and Yukari Kamioka, had a connection to the color red or pink in their design.
