Alexis Nichols is an American voice actor and performer known for her work in anime dubbing, particularly for the Netflix English adaptation of the Little Witch Academia franchise. She is also an accomplished on-camera actress, writer, and model with extensive training in classical and film acting.

Nichols pursued advanced training in performance, earning a Master of Fine Arts in Acting for Film from the New York Film Academy. She further honed her craft at prestigious institutions, including the Yale Summer Actors Conservatory and the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, and also studied at the University of Oxford, where she performed with the Oxford University Light Entertainment Society. This foundation in both stage and screen acting contributed to her versatility as a voice performer.

Her most prominent role in animation is within the Little Witch Academia universe. In the original 2013 short film, Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade, Nichols provided the English voices for two distinct characters: the student Barbara and the instructor Professor Ursula, who is also the witch's true identity, Shiny Chariot. She reprised these roles for the subsequent 2017 Netflix original television series, appearing as Professor Ursula and Shiny Chariot in 24 of the 25 episodes. Her involvement with the franchise extended to its associated video game adaptations as well.

Beyond her anime voice work, Nichols has built a substantial career in various facets of voiceover. She has recorded numerous national and regional commercials for major brands, including Dick's Sporting Goods, Disney's Aulani Resort, QVC, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, and Sesame Place theme park. Her voice can also be heard in audiobooks, book trailers, and as the help screen voice for Motorola mobile devices. This body of commercial voice work led to a nomination for a Voice Arts Award, presented at Lincoln Center in New York City, for her commercial demo reel.

In addition to her voice acting, Nichols maintains an active career in live-action performance and writing. She is an award-winning actress, recognized for her portrayal of Lucille Ball in the short film Becoming Lucy, which she also co-wrote. The film garnered numerous awards and screened at festivals internationally, including the Festival De Cannes Court Métrage. Her work as a writer has also been recognized in screenwriting competitions. Alongside her creative pursuits, Nichols has been pursuing a PhD in Theatre and Performance Studies, and has taught acting and voiceover at institutions such as the California School of the Arts.
