Haruka Nagashima was a Japanese voice actress and singer born on September 21, 1987, in Yamagata Prefecture. She was initially active under her real name, Haruka Nagashima (written as 長嶋 陽香), before using the stage name written as 長嶋 はるか, both pronounced the same way. After moving to Tokyo shortly after her birth, she graduated from the training school Human Academy and subsequently joined the talent agency THREE TREE. She made her debut as a voice actress in 2009, and in September of the same year, she debuted as a singer with the single RAY!Flower. Her role model was fellow voice actress Nana Mizuki, and her special skills included dancing and singing.
Nagashima's career included a variety of roles in television anime. One of her notable performances was as Tamaki Shiokawa, the diminutive female manager of the titular establishment, in the 2013 short-form comedy series Sparrow's Hotel. She also played Kaori Tanaka in the horror series Shiki, and provided voices for Yoko and Yume in the romantic drama Kimi ni Todoke - From Me to You. Her other anime roles included a student in an episode of Gintama, and she was part of the cast for the series Idol Incidents, voicing the character Sakura Isuzugawa. Beyond anime, her work extended to video games, with credits including roles in titles such as Hachikoi, Idol Incidents, and Uchi no Hime-sama ga Ichiban Kawaii.
On May 30, 2021, Haruka Nagashima passed away at the age of 33 while undergoing medical treatment for an unspecified illness. Her agency, THREE TREE, announced her death on June 11, 2021, stating that a private funeral service was held by her family.
