Hana Shimano is a Japanese voice actress from Chiba Prefecture, born on August 17. She has been active in the industry since 2019 and is affiliated with the talent agency Axl-One. Her path to voice acting was inspired by her early and deep appreciation for anime, including series such as Gintama and The Prince of Tennis, and was significantly encouraged by messages of support from her high school classmates. Before her professional debut, she was a member of the training group Axl Zero.

Shimano began her career in 2019, initially taking on minor roles in various anime series. Her early filmography includes appearances in productions such as The case files of Jeweler Richard, Those Snow White Notes, Blue Reflection Ray, The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent, and The Dungeon of Black Company, all airing in 2021. In 2022, she continued building her experience with small parts in shows like In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki, Love All Play, and The Yakuza's Guide to Babysitting. A significant turning point came in 2024 when she was cast as Himari Kino in the anime adaptation of the manga Whisper Me a Love Song. This role marked her first leading part as a protagonist. In addition to voicing the character, she also performed the series' ending theme song, titled Giftee. That same year, she was also featured in the long-running franchise Wonderful Precure!, voicing the character Nanami Kanie. Looking ahead, she is set to voice the protagonist Mako Kawai in the 2025 anime series Food for the Soul.

In addition to her work in anime, Shimano has contributed her voice to video games and digital comics, with roles in titles such as Alice Fiction and Shirohime Quest. Her professional activities also extend to radio, having served as the host for a promotional program for the second-hand anime goods retailer Lashinbang from January to June 2024.

Shimano holds certifications in bookkeeping and information processing. Among her personal interests and skills are a love of eating, visiting shrines and temples, and collecting Shiba Inu-themed goods. She is also able to play the trombone.
