Irina Indigo is the stage name of Irina Cecilia Armas Eduardo, a Venezuelan-Mexican actress renowned for her work in voice dubbing for animation and live-action series and films. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, on January 21, 1972, she began her professional career in her native country in 1993. Her early work consisted primarily of voices for animated series, including roles such as Eliza Thornberry in The Wild Thornberrys and the first voice of Pearl Krabs in SpongeBob SquarePants. In 2000, she relocated to Mexico, a move that significantly expanded her career opportunities in the dubbing industry.
Indigo has an extensive filmography in anime and animation. In the Pokémon franchise, she provided the voice for Christie in the Pokémon: Black & White series, which corresponds to the character Virizion in the film Pokémon the Movie: Kyurem VS. The Sword of Justice. Her other notable anime roles include Retsu Unohana in Bleach and Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, Mebuki Haruno in Naruto and Naruto Shippūden, Cathleen Bate or Star and Stripe in My Hero Academia, and Megumi Oumi in Zatch Bell. She also has a recurring collaboration dubbing the work of actress Julianna Margulies.
