Hinata Satō is a Japanese actress, voice actress, singer, and model born on December 23, 1998, in Yamagata Prefecture. She is affiliated with the talent agency Amuse. Satō began her career in the entertainment industry at a young age, successfully auditioning for the idol group Sakura Gakuin in 2010 and remaining a member until her graduation in 2014. Her voice acting debut came in 2014 with a major role as Rin Karasawa in the NHK anime KutsuDaru., for which she also performed the opening theme song as part of the unit Maboroshi Love.

Satō is best known for several prominent and recurring roles in multimedia franchise projects. She voices Junna Hoshimi in the Revue Starlight franchise, a role she has portrayed across the television series, the films Revue Starlight The Movie and Shōjo Kageki Revue Starlight Rondo Rondo Rondo, the web series Shōjo☆Conto All Starlight, and the video game Shōjo Kageki Revue Starlight -Re LIVE-. She has also performed as the character in the stage adaptation Revue Starlight The Live. Another major role is Noa Fukushima in the D4DJ mixed-media project, which includes the anime series D4DJ First Mix and Pucchimiku D4DJ Petit Mix. As a member of the unit Photon Maiden from the franchise, she performs insert songs for the anime.

In the Love Live! Sunshine!! series, Satō voices Leah Kazuno, a member of the rival group Saint Snow, a role she has also played in the film Love Live! Sunshine!! The School Idol Movie Over the Rainbow. She voices Mizuki Akiyama in the Project SEKAI COLORFUL STAGE! game and its film adaptation, COLORFUL STAGE! The Movie: A Miku Who Can't Sing. Her other anime credits include Chikuma Tanesato in My Stepmom's Daughter Is My Ex, along with roles in series such as Shy, Skip and Loafer, and SPY x FAMILY. Beyond voice acting, Satō has also appeared in live-action television dramas and on stage in productions like The Goodbye Girl and Stray Sheep Paradise.
