Mike Shepherd is a Canadian voice actor born on June 14, 1964, who has built a extensive career narrating and voicing characters in English adaptations of Japanese anime series and video games. He is also credited professionally under the name Mike Shepherd. His work spans several decades and includes a wide variety of roles, from lead villains to supporting characters and narrators.

One of his notable video game performances is as the voice of Dr. Cain in the 2005 OVA MegaMan Maverick Hunter X: The Day of Sigma, a prequel animation included with the PSP game Mega Man: Maverick Hunter X. Dr. Cain is the archaeologist and scientist who discovers Mega Man X and creates the race of Reploids based on his design. Shepherd's other video game credits include the character Elder in Crimson Tears and Colonel Redips in Mega Man X: Command Mission. He also provided voices for several other games, including InuYasha: The Secret of the Cursed Mask and Mobile Suit Gundam Seed: Never Ending Tomorrow.

In anime television, Shepherd's voice has been featured prominently in many series. He is known for his role as the narrator for Deltora Quest and for voicing the character Satotz in the 1999 version of Hunter X Hunter. He voiced multiple characters in the Blue Water dub of Dragon Ball, most significantly as Demon King Piccolo, as well as Lord Kami and others. He also provided voices for Gregory Horror Show as the character Death, Flame of Recca as Koran Mori, and various roles across the Cardfight!! Vanguard and Future Card Buddyfight franchises. His more recent work includes a role in Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction as Daigoro Nakagawa and the Defense Minister Kaminari, and as Bartos in Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai.
