Ron Rubin

Ron Rubin is a Canadian voice actor with a career spanning over three decades, during which he has lent his voice to numerous animated series and films. Born on May 12, 1959, he studied acting at The Neighbourhood Playhouse in New York and also performed with The Second City, in addition to touring North America as a stand-up comedian.

His extensive voice work includes a wide range of roles in both Western animation and English dubs of anime. He is perhaps best known for originating the voice of Artemis in the English-language dub of the anime series Sailor Moon, a role he performed for the entirety of its North American run. Another of his significant anime roles includes providing voices for the Beyblade franchise.

In animation, Rubin has portrayed Morph in the iconic X-Men: The Animated Series and its sequel, X-Men '97. He also voiced the Vision in The Avengers: United They Stand. Other notable credits include Dr. Badvibes in C.O.P.S., Carey Mahoney in the Police Academy animated series, Doom Buggy in Beetlejuice, Mr. Lederhosen in Stickin' Around, Messy Bear in Care Bears properties, and Flinch in Di-Gata Defenders. His work within the Bakugan franchise includes voicing both Exostriker and Stronk in the series Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge.

Throughout his career, Rubin has frequently collaborated on productions for major companies such as Marvel Comics, Warner Bros., and Disney. His performances have earned him recognition, including two ACTRA Award nominations and being a finalist for Best Performance in Voice for his work on Erky Perky.
