Tomomi Jiena Sumi is a Japanese voice actress, singer, and performer known for her work in anime, video games, and music franchises. Born on September 5, 1994, in Kyoto, she is of Japanese and Filipino descent. Her interest in voice acting was sparked by watching Jackie Chan movies dubbed in Japanese and observing the differences in voice acting between English and Japanese programs on the Disney Channel.
Sumi's career in entertainment began in music and live performance. In October 2013, she became a member of the official Toei tokusatsu group Kamen Rider Girls, performing theme songs and appearing at live events for the Kamen Rider franchise. Her voice acting debut came in 2017 with a role in the game Schoolgirl Strikers: Twinkle Melodies. She made her anime debut in 2019, voicing the character Rina in the television series Kemurikusa.
