Philippe Dumond is a French actor, scénariste, and author who is primarily known for his extensive work in dubbing and voice acting. His career spans theatre, film, and television, but he is most recognized for providing the French voices for numerous characters in live-action films, animated series, and video games.

Dumond's voice can be heard in a wide array of animated works. He is notably the French voice of Soichiro Yagami in the anime series Death Note and the voice of the King Sadida in the French animated series Wakfu. His involvement in the anime One Piece is significant, where he voices the characters Admiral Akainu and Silvers Rayleigh. In the feature film Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV, he took on the role of Clarus Amicitia, the sworn shield and childhood friend of the king. Other notable animation roles include Valmont in Jackie Chan Adventures, Captain Hook in The New Adventures of Peter Pan, and Incognito in Hellsing.

Beyond animation, Dumond has a prolific career in video game voice acting. He is widely known as the voice of Agent 47 in the Hitman video game series. He also lent his voice to the character Coach in Left 4 Dead 2, Hugo Strange in Batman: Arkham City, and Varian Wrynn in World of Warcraft.
